# 8 b) Create a workout

You want to workout for the summer ? Fitness magazine is a create way to build a workout, with your body target, equipments and laps of time. You can also choose a workout already set up for you. I really like to see what the exercises look like and the movements that I have to do.

#8 b) Be active with the wii

The Wii is a great way to keep the shape when it's cold outside or you don't feel to go out to do some exercises. I have try this game and I like it.In the beginning, you can create a profile. You have to enter your objective, weight and equipment you have at home. The game will create a routine depending of the king of training you want, ie lower body, cardio, yoga etc.

Dance Dance Revolution is great to kept the shape, but it's more for the cardio. I think it's a fun way to stay active. But the game is not long enough, after 2 weeks I have unlock all the level.

I tough this would be like DDR, but after a few try the sensor seems to not follow the movement correctly

I haven't try those game, but they seems fun. Active from EA look better than cardio workout from Golds Gym. Both are compatible with the wii fit board.

# 8 c) Moisturizing conditioner ingredient

When I was looking for a new moisturizer, I began to wonder what was important and what makes the difference between each other. The last time I went to the spa, I ask the therapist what make a good product. She told my usually there's no bad product, You only have to find the right one for you. So I've browse the web to find what kind of product are good for my kind of hair. I didn't want to take a product because someone told me it was good, but I really wanted to understand what are the good ingredients and what do they do. Thanks to sunshyne - you can check her profile on hairlista, her link is in my blog list on the left - I've found some answers and with the help of other website I've made a quit summery.

1. Water: Must be in the first 3 ingredients, water is the best moisturizer

2. Glycerin: A humectant meaning that it attracts moisture into your hair. It draws water from the air into the hair.

Or with the same function - Honey, Propylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Sugar Cane, Maltitol, Acetamide MEA, Hydrolyzed Wheat Startch, Sodium PC

3. Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein: Derived from wheat; strengthening and thickening for healthy hair It adds body and shine to hair. It's effective for repair and restructuring benefits. It also reduces brittleness and limpness.

4. NATURAL Oils that's mean NO mineral oil, NO petroleum or artificial oil: For lubrication. Gives more moisture to the hair. Helps to maintain softness, adds sheen, and protection.

  • Rosemary Oil -  Known to increase blood flow, therefore, promoting hair growth.
  • Almond oil - Nourishes hair and smoothes hair cuticles, makes hair long, strong and thick, massaging with almond oil adds shine to the hair, control hair fall
  • Peppermint Oil -  Gives a cooling effect/tingle to the scalp, and removes dandruff. Purifies the scalp. Known to increase blood flow, therefore, promoting hair growth.

  • Cedarwod, lavendar, chamomile, bay, lemon and grapefruit : help encourage healthy hair growth
  • Jojoba Oil : Moisturizes the scalp, Develops new hair cell growth, conditions your hair and prevents it from being brittle and dull If there is too much sebum found on the scalp, Jojoba oil can dissolve and take out the sebum, allowing the hair to be cleansed.

  • Orange Oil: This invigorating and vibrant smelling essential oil aids the hair by regulated the production of sebum, the hair’s natural oil.
  • Grapeseed Oil: Grapeseed oil is popular because it is odorless and full of minerals and vitamins that help strengthen your hair. It is an odorless oil, and can help add shine and moisture to your hair. Grapeseed oil is known for having a high content of linoleic acid, an important fatty acid that supports cell health.

5. Fatty Alcohols: Stearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol are all natural fatty alcohols derived from coconut oil. They help to condition our hair and make it soft and manageable.

6. Panthenol (Vitamin B5): Helps thicken each hair shaft naturally. It also increases the strength of hair. Panthenol give elasticity shine to the hair and reduce split ends.

other good ingredients :

Citric Acid is an organic acid: A pH adjuster and a natural preservative in hair care products.

8 c) Knowing your skin type

This is sooo important. It's the base of a healthy skin. If you want to choose a product for your skin, you have to know your skin type. Using the wrong type of product will give you problems andit's a waste of time and money.  There is 5 basic types of skin; Dry, oily, normal, sensitive and combination of skin. To know your skin type you can easily check on the Internet or see your dermatologist/beauty therapist. I have found this website. They help you to find your skin type and they gave you a guide for tips, caring and treatment for your skin type.

# 8 c) General beauty

In this topic, I will talk about skin care, hair, clothing or any related to beauty. In this post I want to share with you all my discoveries on the web.

I love to browse around just to see what are the new tip and advices. Have found those website very helpful.

If you want to have a review before buying any product, I really like this site. You can browse by category, price and rating.  You can also add search preference and exclude product with different substance like alcohol or you can include preference to see product that are hypoallergenic etc.

Have you ever wonder what is in your product and if they really work ? This website is a preview of the book of Paula's choice. You can also have the reviews of 40000 products for 24,95$. She also  explain that sometime you can buy a cheaper product and it will do exactly as the expensive one because of the ingredient are almost the same.

I really like this website because they have great workout, healthy tip and beauty care. You can can register to build your own workout with videos. They have great recipes. I'm not a diet fan, but I believe in eating right and better.  You can also make your  fitness plan or a blog to share your experience with other members.

that's it for my general beauty favorite website, I also like to check on wiki how and YouTube for tutorial.

# 7 Try indoor climbing

I have try indoor climbing this week, it's was cool. I've climb three walls of 50 feet. But I felt sick after the third one ... they say it's maybe because of the difference of temperature and pressure or because of the effort and stress.. anyways maybe I'll give it an other shot to see if it was a one time deal or I'm really not meant to do this. It's a little ironic because I was good at it for my first trial.

# 6 a) Try african dance

I've tried african dance this week and I've liked it. It was more a cardio and strenght training than a traditional dance. It has a lot of arms movements and jumps. For me, the difficulty of this dance it's the coordination of the arms and the legs. I will try the course for three other weeks. Here's a video of some basic moves.
